Billy Colman sold to Norway

After a very successful three years producing the lovely young horse Billy Colman, of which we jointly owned with The Billy Stud, we are delighted that he has found a lovely new home with a Norwegian young rider.

Colman came to Wodehouse Stud at the end of his 5-year-old year and has been a superstar from day one. He was always in the ribbons, from being in the top 10 in every 6-year-old Grand Prix he jumped in 2017, to being placed at every international he started at in his 7-year-old year – he was so careful and simply wanted to please and to jump clear rounds!

We are unbelievably sad to see him go and his gorgeous character will be sorely missed on the yard, but we wish him the very best of luck with his new rider and know that he will continue to do us proud.

Youth Nations Cup Show – Sentower Park

India was delighted to have been selected to go to the First Nations Cup show of the season with, our own and The Billy Stud’s, Billy Colman of whom she has produced from a 5-year-old. India was competing at the show as an individual with Team GB’s Youth Squad, putting in some solid performances on a young horse including placing 4th on the last day around the Nations Cup track individually, which was the perfect end to a good week.

Wodehouse Eceni sold to the UK

We are very sad to see this lovely homebred mare, ‘Betsy’ leave for her new home. Betsy has been a pleasure to produce and have on the yard, her sire being our resident stallion Vrielink Vans Gravenstafel and with Silvio on the mothers side she is a fantastic jumper who is naturally very careful. We wish her the best of luck with her new owners and know she will bring them as much happiness and good memories as she did us! Good luck Betsy.

Emotional day today for the team here at Wodehouse Stud as we said goodbye to Latte as she starts her journey to her new home in Mexico!
Latte has been a fantastic pony for India & Atiya over the past 4 years with numerous Championship successes. She will be dearly missed on the yard, but we wish her the best of luck with her new family & we are positive that she will bring them as much joy as she did us. Good luck Latte!
